- Castor oil
- Cotton wicks / Vatti

Step 1 Soak a cotton broad wick in a clay diya by adding castor oil for 2 days
Step 2 After 2 days lit the wick
Step 3 Place 3 glasses according to that height
Step 4 Place a bronze plate on the glasses and pour some water
Step 5 You should note that the fire should tough the plate so that ash will be create as shown in the figure. Move the plate a little frequently once you find the ash is embosed. It takes minimum 4 to 5 hrs to get 3 tbsp of ash
Step 6Collect the whole ash
Step 7 Add 2 pinches of edible camphor for 3 tbsp of ash
Step 8Add 2 or 3 drops of castor oil
Step 9 press and mix for atleast 5 minutes, After 5 minutes the kajal is ready to use
Step 10 Keep it in a bronze or copper or steel box. Do not use plastic. No expiery for this. Enjoy this home made kajal without any side effects 🙂
