Bellam kudumulu or sweet kudumulu is also called as theepi kudumulu. It is a famous ganesh chaturthi naivedyam from Andhra pradesh. These bellam kudumulu will make with rice ravva and steaming process.
These kudumulu makes in two different shapes large round balls and flattened round dics. To make this bellam kudumulu recipe, you can use soaked chanadal or soaked moong dal and coconut pieces
These kudumulu are very tasty recipe with light sweet. We should not add more sweet to this recipe. Light sweet will make this dish tasty and yummy. If you want more sweet you can add more jaggery to this.

Bellam Kudumulu Recipe Card

- Chana dal -1/2 cup
- water – 2 cups
- Salt – 1/4th tbsp
- Jaggery – 1/2 cup
- fresh coconut – 1/2 cup , small pieces
- Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
- Rice ravva – 1 cup
- Rice flour – 3 tbsp
Step 1 Soak 1/2 cup of chana dal in a bowl by adding 1 cup of water for 15 min
Step 2 After 15 min take a pan, add 2 cups of water and soaked chana dal
Step 3 Stir well
Step 4 Cook chana dal for 5 minutes.
Step 5 After 5 min add 1/2 cup of jaggery, Fresh coconut pieces, and cardamom powder to it and stir well until jaggery melts completely.
Step 6 After jaggery melts add 1 cup of rice ravva and 2 tbsp of rice flour and mix well with out lumps
Step 7 Cook this for 15 min on low flame. untill ravva cooks well.
Step 8 Transfer the cooked dough into a bowl and let it cool completely.
Step 9After cooled down make lemon size laddues as shown in the figure.
Step 10 Now steam the prepared laddus in a steamer.
Step 11 steam for 10 minutes.
Step 12 After 10 minutes kudumulu are ready to serve.
Step 13 Tasty tasty sweet kudumulu / bellam kudumulu are ready to offer as naivedyam for ganesh chaturthi. It is also prepared in new house farming ceremany .
